I want to scan an image to print on canvas. What settings should I use?

The larger the canvas you would like to print, the higher the resolution needs to be to ensure a good quality result.

Most printers or scanners label their print settings as DPI (Dots Per Inch), but the measurement of the digital file is actually PPI (Pixels Per Inch). An 8 1/2" x 11" image scanned at 800 DPI/PPI should be high-enough resolution to create a good print on a 24" x 30" canvas.

We encourage you to crop out any areas of your scanned image that you do not want showing up on the final print prior to uploading your artwork.
